Cookie and Tracking Statement

This Cookie and Tracking Statement explains how My Waypoint Technologies Inc. approaches cookies, browser storage, tracking pixels, and analytics across all MyWaypoint products and services.

Our approach is privacy-first. We do not use advertising networks, behavioural tracking, or third-party analytics platforms across any of our products.

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser by websites you visit. They can be used for authentication, preferences, analytics, advertising, and other purposes.

Browser storage (localStorage and sessionStorage) is similar to cookies but is stored locally on your device, never transmitted in HTTP request headers, and is not readable by other websites.

My Waypoint Technologies Inc. does not use:

• Advertising cookies
• Marketing cookies
• Behavioural tracking
• Visitor profiling
• Advertising networks
• Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager
• Facebook Pixel
• Microsoft Clarity
• Hotjar, Mixpanel, PostHog, or equivalent tools
• Tracking pixels or web beacons

Because most MyWaypoint products set no first-party cookies and use no tracking technologies, no cookie consent banner is displayed on those products. There is nothing to consent to.

The following MyWaypoint products do not set cookies of any kind:

• MyData101 (mydata101.ca) — static educational site, no cookies
• MyDataTools (mydatatools.ca) — static tools site, no cookies
• MyDataHub (mydatahub.ca) — static hub site, no cookies
• MyDataOnDemand (mydataondemand.ca) — static site, no cookies
• MyWaypointDigital (mywaypointdigital.ca) — static site, no cookies

These products are static HTML sites. No JavaScript analytics libraries are loaded. No cookies are set on page load or during normal browsing.

MyCleanData (mycleandata.ca) uses Stripe for subscription payment processing. When you complete a checkout, Stripe sets cookies under the stripe.com domain for fraud prevention and payment security. These cookies are controlled by Stripe, not by My Waypoint Technologies Inc.

Common Stripe cookies:

• __stripe_mid — Fraud prevention; identifies your browser across sessions
• __stripe_sid — Session identifier for payment security

MyCleanData does not set first-party cookies for analytics, advertising, marketing, or visitor profiling.

MyCleanData uses browser localStorage and sessionStorage for authentication. These values are stored locally on your device and are not readable by other websites.

Storage keys used by MyCleanData:

• mcd_token — Authentication access token (15 minutes or until logout)
• mcd_refresh_token — Session renewal token (7 days or until logout; only if "Remember me" is checked)
• mcd_role — User role value; contains no personal information
• mcd_saved_email — Login form convenience; only stored if "Save email" is checked

All storage is cleared when you sign out. No other MyWaypoint product uses browser storage.

You can manage cookies and browser storage through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to view, delete, and block cookies and clear site data.

For MyCleanData, clearing browser storage will sign you out. For all other MyWaypoint products, there is no browser storage to clear.
